Cali's Christmas program was Dec. 10th. We really enjoyed watching her sing. It is feels so weird going to these school events and by weird I mean warm and fuzzy. We are so proud of our girl and can't believe how fast she's becoming a little girl.
The outfit she wore was provided by the school, they use them every year. The tights that she was wore were too small and kept falling down. She kept pulling her dress up (all the way up) to pull the tights, yes everyone would see her underwear every time she pulled her dress up. She didn't really know the words to any of the songs. The only song she kind of knew was "Jingle Bells." Since then she has learned more of the lyrics and sings it ALL THE TIME.
Like most 3-year-olds, she was afraid of Santa. I kept trying to tell her that there was nothing to be afraid of, that Santa brought presents and candy. Her teacher was also trying to get Cali to like Santa. We weren't able to get her to sit on Santa's lap.
The following week Santa went to visit them again and Ms. Franetovich finally got her to like Santa, I think it had something to do with the Candy and gift that she got from Santa.
Since then she has seen Santa a few more times and isn't afraid of him anymore.
